Emma + Scott – The Faversham, Leeds Wedding

The Faversham

A Fun-Filled Wedding at The Faversham, Leeds

Some weddings are built entirely around personality, warmth and an irresistible sense of fun—and Emma + Scott’s incredible celebration at The Faversham, Leeds was exactly that. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this wasn’t just a wedding day. It was a celebration of a family unit that already felt complete, a day to cement that bond in front of the people who mattered most, and a chance to throw one seriously great party.

The Faversham is one of the most unique wedding venues in Leeds, and Emma + Scott used every inch of its charm to create something truly special. Their ceremony took place in the venue’s iconic light-filled conservatory—a stunning space with glass walls and a soft, airy glow that photographer dreams are made of. As guests gathered around them in such an intimate setting, the atmosphere was full of emotion, humour, connection and so much love.

A Family-Centred Day

What I loved most about their wedding was how central the family unit was to everything. Emma + Scott made it abundantly clear that this day was as much about celebrating their children as it was about celebrating their marriage. Those little moments—the excited faces, the hugs, the chaos, the sweetness—gave the day such depth and authenticity. It’s the kind of storytelling I adore: real, imperfect, joy-filled.

If their ceremony was heartfelt, their evening celebration was wild—in the best possible way.The Faversham’s iconic party atmosphere came alive as soon as the music kicked in. Guests danced like no one was watching (my favourite kind of dancing), the room was buzzing, and the energy never dipped for a second. Emma + Scott were right at the centre of it all—laughing, hugging, singing, and fully living their best wedding lives. I love photographing weddings where joy takes over the whole room, and this one? It went off.

The Faversham: Character, Charm and Endless Versatility

The Faversham is a bit of a gem in the world of Leeds wedding venues. It blends Victorian character, contemporary styling and effortless cool in a way no other Leeds event space quite manages.

Between its different spaces—the conservatory, the elegant indoor rooms and the outdoor terrace—it’s incredibly versatile. Whether you want something chilled and modern or loud and lively, The Faversham adapts to your day seamlessly.

For Emma + Scott, that meant plenty of room for kids to roam, adults to catch up over drinks and everyone to feel relaxed from the start. The outdoor terrace was the perfect spot for mingling, photos and a bit of late-afternoon sunshine.
