Some wedding days feel instantly welcoming—the kind where you walk in and immediately sense the warmth, the love and the excitement in the air. That was absolutely the case with Hannah & Rob’s gorgeous celebration at The Oakwood at Ryther. These two are such a genuinely kind, friendly and down-to-earth couple, and they managed to create a day that felt inviting, relaxed and full of joy from beginning to end.
Surrounded by their favourite people, their wedding was beautifully elegant without ever feeling overdone—soft, romantic, stylish and truly reflective of who they are.
Hannah looked absolutely stunning in an elegant wedding dress that suited her perfectly—timeless, refined and full of subtle detail that photographed like a dream. The whole day carried a muted, delicate, modern palette: soft neutrals, gentle florals and natural textures that complemented The Oakwood’s bright, contemporary spaces perfectly.
The styling had this effortless sophistication to it—nothing too bold, everything beautifully balanced. The Oakwood at Ryther does such a good job of giving couples a clean, stylish canvas, and Hannah & Rob used it to create something soft, airy and incredibly romantic.

I’m sure he won’t mind me saying it… but Rob was very nervous ahead of his speech. You could feel the anticipation building! But when the moment came—he absolutely smashed it out of the park.
Honest, emotional, funny and full of heart, it was one of those speeches that had everyone fully tuned in. And I felt so honoured to be able to record it as part of their Highlight Film package. Being able to weave his words into their preview film made it even more meaningful—a little time capsule of everything he felt on the day.
It’s moments like that—raw, genuine, unfiltered—that make me love offering films alongside photography. They hold emotion in a completely different way.
