    Some wedding days just stay with you—and Lauren & Ashley’s celebration at The Saddle Rooms in Leyburn was one of those truly unforgettable days. Set against the stunning backdrop of the North Yorkshire countryside, their day was overflowing with love, laughter, family, and the kind of emotional, personal moments that make being a wedding photographer such a privilege.
    From the moment I arrived at the venue, I knew it was going to be something special. The Saddle Rooms never disappoint—whether it’s the rolling hills surrounding the venue, the rustic yet elegant charm of the interiors, or the warm, welcoming atmosphere—it’s a dream location for a North Yorkshire wedding photographer.

    Lauren & Ashley chose a celebrant-led ceremony, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Personal vows that brought everyone to tears, a beautiful tree-planting ceremony symbolising the roots they’ve put down together and the life they’re growing—it was all so meaningful and intentional.
    I absolutely love photographing celebrant ceremonies because they are so deeply personal and full of heart. You feel like you’re witnessing something truly unique.

    Why I Love Shooting at The Saddle Rooms

    The Saddle Rooms provided the perfect setting for it all. The venue has this incredible ability to feel grand and intimate at the same time. It’s spacious enough for a big celebration but retains that cosy, personal feel that makes everyone feel at home.
    The staff are always fantastic, too—super organised and friendly, which makes my job even more enjoyable.
