The West Mill, Derby, Wedding Photographer

Megan and Chris had a beautiful wedding at The West Mill in Derby. They were a fun and relaxed couple, and their love for each other was evident throughout the day.

Having photographed Chris’ brothers Wedding a few years back, as well as family shoots, I knew how welcoming the wedding party would be.

As well as writing personalised vows, they also chose to do a ‘first look’ with just the two of them before the ceremony – this is a wonderful idea to share a few private moments together without the pressure of all eyes on you!

The venue, a former cotton spinning mill on the banks of the River Derwent, is absolutely stunning and I had been so excited to shoot my first wedding there!

The West Mill is packed full of character and provided a unique backdrop for the wedding – with photo opportunities around every corner.

The florals at the wedding were gorgeous and added a touch of elegance to the day.

As a West Mill wedding photographer, I was able to capture all the special moments shared between Megan and Chris against the backdrop of this historic venue.

Overall, it was a joy to photograph Megan and Chris’s wedding at The West Mill in Derby.
