Here I am, writing a brand new blog post … with an actual real life NEW wedding!!
You have no idea how much I have longed to say those words!
Heidi + Matt, like so many of my other couples, had their plans spoiled by events of the last 18 months …
But throughout it all they remained positive and focused on their ultimate aim – becoming husband & wife
As soon as they were allowed – they opted for a small intimate wedding with just them and their closest family.
To say it was an emotional day would be an understatement …
finally having all their family together to witness them say their vows was a very special moment.
On a personal level – it was amazing to get back to doing what I love best – being involved in such a special day is an honour at the best of times but my first wedding back post lockdown was certainly a memorable moment.
My morning started with Heidi and the bridal preparations – and I also had chance to catch up with the amazing Jade & Beth of Bow & Blush who as always made sure all the girls looked and felt a million dollars!
Heidi & Matt were lucky enough to get married at the stunning & iconic Giggleswick School chapel – an honour in itself as you had to attend school there to be blessed with a ceremony.
The sun shone down on their gorgeous day and they were blessed with the bluest of skies all day long!
What a treat to also be back at one of my favourite spots – The Coniston Hotel
Set on the outskirts of Skipton, North Yorkshire with picture perfect grounds and a stunning lakeside setting it really does have it all!
Mr + Mrs Harban it truly was the greatest honour,
Here is your story …
